Park – Master Bath Remodel

Room Master bath
Project scope Replace everything but the cabinets

Bellaire homes are some of the nicest in Houston, but about half of them were built between 20 and 50 years ago. The owners of this home had tired of their master bathroom’s holdover accents from the 1980s and wanted to update for a more modern look, especially in the shower.

We created for them a space with class and convenience, including several universal design features, which we always encourage our customers to adopt for the longest enjoyment and use of a room as possible.

Project Highlights

  • Shower benches are great, but many of our customers prefer a floating bench like this shower’s to the boxier built-in versions. The open area underneath makes the space feel airier and dries more easily, and some homeowners feel it’s easier to stand up from. It also looks more modern and is functional, too, allowing space for storage, if desired.
  • The shower system is not only luxurious, it’s a universal design product, incorporating an easily-grasped levered handle and showerhead that can be raised or lowered for adults or children, someone seated, or someone of small stature.
