Your roof is the hardest-working part of your house, protecting you from the harshest elements of nature, including those fierce Houston storms. But those beatings take their toll–the average asphalt-shingle roof lasts about 15-20 years.
If you’ve had your roof more than a decade and you’re starting to notice wear spots or you have leaks or damage, Legal Eagle Contractors roofers can replace your roof with high-quality materials that will look and perform great for years to come, no matter the design or complexity of your home. We can also make repairs to your existing roof to give you a cost-effective solution.
Why Use Legal Eagle Contractors?
As general contractors with longstanding roots in the Houston area and the residential construction industry, we know plenty about roofing, from selecting the best materials to knowing which shingle brands offer the best performance.
We also keep up with new developments in technology, building codes, and manufacturers’ recommended installation practices through our membership in the National Roofing Contractors Association (“NRCA”).
We always properly place shingles, nail to the correct depth, and ensure they are flush with the adjacent shingles for a perfectly uniform finish.
We can also install specialized materials such as wind-resistant shingles, metal roofs, and even extend the life of older roofs with waterproof sealants.
We are quite different from most roofing companies.
We are much neater during the roofing process from demo to final clean up.
For example, after the roofing is installed, we use powerful rare earth magnets to scour your flower beds, driveway, sidewalks, patios, and lawn. This removes almost all of the nails that come out when the old roof is removed.
This prevents your lawn man from sending nails flying when he weed-whacks your property, which often breaks windows.
Comprehensive Roof Replacement
When you need to replace the roof of your Houston home, Legal Eagle’s roofing experts can help you choose the right materials for your style and budget that meet your local HOA requirements.
This expertise is especially important in today’s market, as roofing material costs continue to rise and product availability is often negatively affected due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
We can work with any kind of roof, whether you have a chimney, skylights, vents, or other roof features. We also install new Velux® skylights.
Make Your Roof Last Longer with Regular Maintenance
It’s important to have your roof regularly checked for damage–especially after a storm–to ensure its efficiency, lifespan, and integrity.
Legal Eagle’s roofers can conduct a free, comprehensive inspection of the roof to look for cracks, leaks, standing water, missing shingles, hail damage, moss or other growth, broken flashing, blocked gutters and downspouts, and other problems that often are not visible from the ground.
Then we provide an assessment of the roof’s condition and a cost estimate for any repairs that may be needed.

Solutions for Low-Slope Roofs
Is your roof low-slope (it has a pitch ratio of less than 2:12 vertical-to-horizontal)? Townhouses, row homes, and sheds and porch-garage transitions sometimes have low slope and can’t be shingled, but that’s no problem at all for us!
We have you covered with a membrane roof system of either rolled-roofing or single-ply synthetic, water-repellant rubber or plastic (EPDM, or ethylene propylene diene terpolymer).
In some cases, metal roofing can also be used. Metal roofing can last 50 years but it is 4-5 times more expensive than composition shingle roofing.
Living Under a Legal Eagle Roof
What’s life like under a Legal Eagle roof? Here are the benefits:

- Energy savings – A new, carefully installed roof can cut your energy bills by reflecting more light and heat while optimizing ventilation via the airflow between the attic and the outside.
- Stunning looks -Get amazing curb appeal that matches the rest of your house and your neighborhood’s aesthetics. For example, some asphalt shingles look just like the old slate roofs.
